This collection is in celebration of Tal & Bert owner, Val, 29th birthday. This collection of candles was designed & created by Val to be reflections of some of her fondest places that are core inspirations to her work in Tal & Bert’s designs.
The Laurel Highlands Candle is inspired by Val’s love her favorite weekend getaway in southwestern Pa! An ode to her time at Nemocolin, exploring the caverns and hiking through woods & wildflowers.
The Makai Candle is inspired by Val’s love the ocean and the journey to the ocean. Makai means towards the ocean in Hawaiian. Val has admired and appreciated the geography & beauty of the Hawaiian Islands and draws a lot of inspiration from them.
The Pinyon Candle is inspired by Val’s love of Sedona & the Enchantment Resort. Pinyon pines line the property at Enchantment and the vast parks nearby house a variety of oak & cedar trees. Created to elegantly capture the earthiness & spice of the southwest.
